*Both are biographical films, released during the same time-frame and ultimately two films that have had to compete (like any film) to win awards. But just because they tell two extraordinary stories, from real people, does this mean we have the right to compare them as if they were the same? No. I thought this from the minute I heard about the films but after having finally seen both, I can see there is no way you can compare one for the other.
